Hit Points, Physical Attack,
Physical Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed: Those exist in
every Pokémon. Using them masterfully along with the right item, ability,
typing, move set, mechanic, team balance, care and love, and of course brilliant
thinking mid battle will lead the trainer into victory!
The date
was the 15 of August. The Single League was about to start. Right at the
morning Nog and Matoi went to have a very important business which was… to
divorce. They still loved each other of course, but Nog wanted to end their
unstable lifestyle. He wanted to start a family, which Matoi disagreed on.
Matoi still wanted to have hot anal sex at the middle of the street and making
some black hot men to join the orgy. Nog of course still loved to blow some
dicks while getting one from behind while the one from behind gets one behind,
and the one the from behind the one behind gets another one from behind until
creating an endless train orgy. But as he saw how most of his friends were
about to start a family, he realized he wanted to break his cycle as well.
Shirr and Katsuya were about to get married, Brazle and Tanimura didn't talk
about it yet but he had a feeling they will do so soon, and Aaron was reunited
with his girlfriend Ami. The only ones left were Miakko and Uzib. And no one
liked Uzib so he didn't care about him.
"You
two aren't even married…" the rabbi said.
"Wow!
The whole process is so quick! Thank you my rabbi!" Matoi said.
"No…"
the rabbi said "The process takes around an hour. But you two were never
registered as husband and husband to begin with."
"There
must be a mistake!" Nog said "Matoi, you clearly went to register us
years ago, right?"
"What
are you talking about?! I told you that day that I can't go and you'll do
it…"
….
"Asshole!
Because of you I was never your husband!" Nog punched Matoi.
"Shut
up! Don't tell what you to do! You are not my husband!" Matoi kicked Nog's
balls.
"Get
out!!!!!" the rabbi shouted.
"Okay
Nog…. a serious moment for a while… you should try date Miakko."
"Huh?!
You know it is pointless. She is a great woman, but as soon as the Pokémon
League ends she will be back to her own dimension."
"She
is still great regardless. Isn't she? She clearly liked you as a friend, so you
have a decent chance."
"Aren't
you two gays?" the rabbi asked. "Now you are thinking of dating a
woman?"
"Yeah
yeah, but she is special." Both of them answered.
Everyone
went to register to the Single League. Among them were Kamidori Sayoko and
T'horim Alzheimer.
"What
Kamidori Sayoko is doing here again?!" some challenger said as he saw her.
"Didn't
she have enough?! She participated at League of so many regions for the last
eight years and she won every god damn time!"
"I'm
giving up! I'm not humiliating myself in public! I'll try next year!"
"Sayoko!"
Alicia called her.
"Alicia!
Long time no see!" Sayoko went to her. "I see you are soon going to
have a baby! Congratulations!" she said when she saw her giant belly.
"Alicia,
you know her?" Shirr asked.
"Yeah.
We are childhood friends." Sayoko answered. "What a small world. To
think that you know each other."
"Did
you find him already?" Alicia asked.
"If I
had found I wouldn't have be doing this for so long."
"Doing
what?" Miakko asked.
"It
is none of your business!" Sayoko answered in a vulgar tone and went away.
"Miakko…
Shirr… I'm sorry for her behavior; she is not a bad person, but that topic…
very few people know about it. I know because we are very close friends. I
shouldn't have brought it up in front of you."
"Did
we miss something?" Nog and Matoi joined the conversation.
"Where
have you been?" Shirr asked.
"We
divorced." they said.
"But
why? Aren't you friends anymore?" Miakko asked.
"You
are kidding right?" Nog asked "He is my best friend! It is
just…"
"All
of the challengers of the Single League, gather up!" Leon called.
"Good
luck Miakko! Go for it!" Ryu cheered her. Miakko was very nervous and
tried to calm down. The thing that made her nervous the most is Waiareas'
speech yesterday, when he said that she is going to beat everyone. She feared
she couldn't fill the role and was afraid to disappoint her father.
Waiareas'
eye was sharp and realized right away that Miakko is nervous because of him. He
didn't know how to fix his mistake so all he did was to hug her. That simple
thing decreased the pressure Miakko felt.
"Listen
up!" Hassel called "There are 769 challengers here. But most of you
are going to lose your hopes and dreams very soon. Only 32 of you are going to
enter the official Single League."
"Only
32? You gotta be kidding!!!!!!" screamed one.
"Yeah
not fair!!!!!!!"
"The
way it will be done will be like this: all of you are going to cash grab us and
waste too much fuel on hundreds that won't pass the league anyway. You'll be
taken twenty kilometers from here by busses. God damn! Why there are so many of
you?!!!! You know I'll have to pay it from my own bank account,
right?!!!!!" Hassel screamed "I smashed too many tables and now all
my so called "friends" from the Elite Fours are forcing me to pay
it!!!!!!"
"Hassel….
Get into the matter…." Leon urged him.
"Anyway.
You'll have a race! You'll have to cross those twenty kilometers. You can do it
by any way you wish to, but you must stay on the race course. But be warned,
this course is not easy one of just walking. There are difficult terrains here,
such as mountains, caves, and water terrains. It is needless to say that all of
the Victory Road contains dangerous Pokémon that won't hesitate to attack
you."
"Then
why you say it?!!!!" one called.
"You
are allowed to attack other trainers' Pokémon, but not the trainer itself.
Anyone that will attack people directly will be disqualified. You have ten
minutes to prepare your team. You'll need them."
T'horim
Alzheimer kept an eye on Miakko. He was a man wearing a hood and his face was
completely hidden by mask. Everyone could smell his stincky scent of alcohol
and cigarettes.
"Twenty
kilometers… It is very long course." Alicia said.
"The
only way to complete it is with Pokémon." Waiareas said. "That's
probably their goal"
"Miakko
will be fine, right?" Ben was worried.
"I believe
she can complete it. The thing is, there is a trick in this course. It is more
than just a race." Ryu said.
"More
than just a race? Could you explain?" Alicia asked.
"Just
wait and see. It is better if you'll see it yourself." Ryu answered.
All of the
challengers waited for their sign to start. In front of them they saw a grass
field. They wouldn't know what will be the next terrain.
"3…
2… 1… 5…" Hassel called.
"Stop
messing with us!!!!!!"
"Fine
fine…. Start!!!!"
Miakko and
Shirr ran and took the first place for the first ten seconds. In front of them
appeared two menacing Fearows that flew to attack them with Drill Peck. Miakko
took one of her Pokeballs and then "Don't!" Shirr grabbed Miakko's
hand. "You understand it, right? You can't use Pokémon now."
"Why
they won't use their Pokémon?!" Ben was worried "It is too
dangerous!"
"They
can't… not at this point of the course…" Alicia realized.
"The
rules said it is fine." Ben didn't understand.
"The
other challengers are right behind them. This whole course is kind of scouting
mission, to research their next rivals in the official League. Using too many
Pokémon can reveal other trainers their teams…"
"Oh…
but what choice do you have? To attack with bare hands?"
Actually
yes, in Miakko's and Shirr's case.
They broke
the Fearows' neck with their bare fists and advanced.
"It
is against the rules!!!!!!" Hassel called.
"What
rules… you said nothing about that." Leon said.
"No
what I mean is!!!! I didn't expect that someone will be insane enough to do it!
They missed the whole point of the challenge!!!"
'But I
have to admit… it was very unusual to see that.' Leon was thinking 'Those
Fearows are strong enough to be on some GYM leaders' teams. Defeating them with
bare hands… Shirr Massel, Furukawa Miakko, who really are you…?'
Katsuya
was riding on his Revavroom and advanced to the next section of the course.
Brazle did the same on her Aerodactyl, and Shirr summoned her Crobat and rode
on its back. Miakko summoned her Charizard and advanced to the next section.
The next section split into two courses. You could choose only one to advance.
Brazle and Miakko chose the right one, and Katsuya and Shirr chose the left
one. The one Miakko and Brazle chose eventually revealed itself as a rocky area
with rock slide from the mountains. Brazle changed her Pokémon into her Corviknight
and took shelter under its huge armored wings. But Miakko was in trouble. Her
only big Pokémon that could protect her from above was Charizard. The problem
was that Charizard was very weak to rocks. With no choice she switched to her
Ursaluna and slowly advanced by walking.
Two hours
have passed. Katsuya, Shirr, and Brazle found themselves again on the same
course. Sayoko saw Shirr and Katsuya while riding on her Rhydon and felt safe
to switch into her Zapdos as they've already seen she had one in the past. She
took the bet on Brazle that she may not battle her, and advanced faster to the
first place. "Have you seen Miakko?" Brazle asked.
"Wasn't
she was on your course?" Katsuya asked.
"She
was, but I thought I've missed her. Don't tell me that she is still stuck on
that area?!"
"I'm
going back to her!" Shirr declared.
"Shirr!
What are you thinking?! You will not finish the race in time!" Katsuya
opposed.
"I
don't care! Miakko is the reason I returned to be a trainer. I can't abandon
her. I also want to battle her."
"I'm
going back as well." Brazle declared.
Katsuya
saw the two girls' determination, stopped for a few seconds "Fine! I'm
going back as well. Brazle! Help us to find her!" he summoned his Gyarados
"Get on its back!"
Around one
hour earlier…
Miakko was
attacked by a gang of five members. She was almost hit by Thunderbolt from the
gang leader's Zebrstrika. "What do you think you are doing?! Attacking
other trainers is illegal!" Miakko called.
"It
is illegal as long as you hit them! If you don't, it is a fair play!"
"Hassel!!!!!!!!!"
Leon was about to burst from rage "You made a rule like this?!!!!"
"I
mean… it makes sense. If you don't hit them there is nothing wrong. If I don't
break the table I don't have to pay for it…"
"You
imbecile!!!!"
"Why
are you doing that?!" Miakko called. "Don't you want to win the race
and participate the League?!"
"We
want to participate. And win. But the champion of Tag League said that you are
the strongest trainer here. You could say it is a parent love of course, but we
don't want to take the risk! We'll take down all of your Pokémon before that
and you won't able to advance further in the race!"
…
An hour
and half later all Miakko had left was her Charizard on very low health. She
managed to defeat most of the gang's Pokémon by herself but she was very close
to losing. "Be gone!!!! Furukawa Miakko!" the leader called. His
attacked was stopped by someone's Kingler.
"You
are… T'horim Alzheimer…" Miakko said "Why do you help me?"
"Let's
say that I want to battle you. I can't afford you losing here. Get out of here
as fast as possible! And make sure to not losing!"
"I
will! Thank you, T'horim!" Miakko left and ran as fast as possible and
saved her Charizard for the crucial moments.
"For
bullying my daughter… I won't forgive you guys!!!!" T'horim called.
"What
the hell are you talking about?! Her father is the Tag League's Champion!"
"This
guy can say whatever he wants. But he is nothing but a liar!"
Miakko was
eventually re-united with her friends. They explained to her the situation and
took her.
"First
Place!" Lance announced "Kamidori Sayoko!"
"Second
Place! Tachat Sama!"
"Third
Place! Sara Yardeni!"
"Forth
Place! Ami Habara"
"Fifth
Place! Eliran Bercobitch"
"Sixth
Place! Galit Oren!"
"Seventh
Place! Azami Inori!"
…
"Here
they come!" Ryu called.
"Twenty
Forth Place! Shirr Massel! Then Twenty Five, Brazle Shine! Right with her,
Katsuya Spark! Then on the Twenty Seventh, Furukawa Miakko!"
Right
after them T'horim Alzheimer arrived.
"T'horim!
You made it!" Miakko called. "I'm so glad. If you had lost because of
me…"
The last
four arrived. Tomorrow the single league will start on 16 of August.
