Hit Points, Physical Attack,
Physical Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed: Those exist in
every Pokémon. Using them masterfully along with the right item, ability,
typing, move set, mechanic, team balance, care and love, and of course brilliant
thinking mid battle will lead the trainer into victory!
"Here
she comes! Our Bride!" Sanada Masayuki said. "Ina Hime!"
Ina was
wearing a white kimono, a typical bridal kimono for when getting married in
Ransei. Her husband to be, Nobuyuki was blushing, stressful, but also happy. He
held his new wife hands, and felt it; it was a true love.
"Be
happy! Brother! Sister!" Sanada Yukimura said. Yukimura was the younger
brother of Nobuyuki. Just like him, he was a respected warrior of the Sanada
Clan. The Sanada clan needed those marriages. They were in abysmal state after the
Takeda clan which they allied with, was defeated by Nobunaga. Ina was the
adoptive daughter of Ieyasu. So in some sort of way, through many loops, the
Sanada allied with the ones who defeated them.
Ina looked
at Nobuyuki's eyes, and just like him she felt that he is the one for her.
Despite being marriages of alliance, the two felt a true bond between each
other. Ina like her husband Nobuyuki, and her brother in law Yukimura was also
a very respected warrior of on her own. She was great at fighting with bows and
was much stronger than the common female warrior.
Miakko
knew it. According to history, Nobunaga is soon going to be killed. And the one
that will kill him will be his most loyal ally; Akechi Mitsuhide. She told her
parents about that.
"But
why would he kill him?" Waiareas asked. "It seems that Nobunaga
treats Mitsuhide pretty well."
"Nobody
knows the reason actually. There are some speculations by history researches,
but no a definitive answer exists." Miakko answered.
Mistuhide
heard the conversation 'Am I… going to kill Nobunaga according to history?' he
was thinking. 'How they can decide that…? Wait… could they… no… Those three are
actually from the future?! There are some Pokémon that have the ability of leap
in time. Could they be using them?'
Nobunaga
was close to unifying Ransei. Everyone was defeated on his way as the true
ruler of the region. He sent Ieyasu for a battle at the north, Shibata to the
south, and Hideyoshi to the west. As Hideyoshi sent a call for help as he was
struggling at his battle, Nobunaga sent Mitsuhide to help him. Nobunaga decided
to rest for a few days along with his army at the Honnou-ji temple to prepare
to the upcoming battle. He saved the Furukawas as his bodyguards, just in case
something happens.
As
Mitsuhide arrived to the aid of Hideyoshi, they sat for a discussion for the
strategy of the battle.
"You
didn't need help for the battle?! Then why did you call me?" Mitsuhide
said.
"Calm
down Mitsuhide. I called you for much important mission. Return to Nobunaga.
Kill him."
'So at the
original timeline I killed Nobunaga… as this man says…' Mitsuhide was thinking.
"But why? For what purpose?"
"Think
about that! Don't you want to be the ruler yourself?! Nobunaga is now at his
most vulnerable state. He is alone, he thinks that nobody can beat him. Now it
is the time, to defeat that evil monster!"
"I
see… it sounds like a good idea. Fine, I'll go with that. Nobunaga has done
terrible things to me at the past. Because of him my mother died. Hideyoshi,
give me the order."
"Mitsuhide,
kill Nobunaga."
"Yes
I will. Toyotomi Hideyoshi Sama!"
"
'Toyotomi'? Only the Shogun's family can call themselves like that."
"You
are going to be next ruler of Ransei. I'll serve under you."
The
evening was dark. During that night the moon didn't appear. Nobunaga was
drinking sake. Despite he was ordering the Furukawas to protect him at the
night so he can sleep, the three didn't have any intention to do so. It might
be sound cruel, but according to Moho they needed to see a specific person's
death. It could be very likely to be Nobunaga. They left the temple and knew
it; Mitsuhide is coming to kill Nobunaga. They watched from the close mountain
at Honnou-ji.
"Enemy's
attack!!!!!!!" one of the spies warned. "He rides on a giant bird!!!!
No! It is impossible! It is Mitsuhide!!!!!"
"Mitsuhide?!
Why would he do it?!" Nobunaga smashed the sake plate. Nobunaga had no way
of escaping. The Honnou-ji temple was besieged from all sides. His only way of
surviving is defeating Mitsuhide. Nobunaga's forces fought against Mitsuhide's
forces, but ultimately they were on the losing side. Nobunaga stayed at inner
room of the temple, and considered to commit a suicide. Mitsuhide then rushed
for the kill and met Nobunaga. From the outside clashing swords sound was
heard, then Nobunaga's scream, and then complete silence. Mitsuhide came
outside the temple holding Nobunaga's decapitated head. Mitsuhide was currently
the strongest man in Ransei. The Furukawas realized that their participation in
the Sengoku period isn't over yet. Nobunaga is not the one they need to see his
death. But who could that person be?
Mitsuhide
was now known as the worst traitor in history. Everyone hated him; even
Nobunaga's worst enemies. Hideyoshi then started his campaign of brain-
washing. Mitsuhide must die. He must defend the honor of his lord Nobunaga.
Inside, he didn't care for Nobunaga at all. It was a façade, but it worked. He
gave the order for his loyal retainer Ishida Mitsunari to kill Mitsuhide. Mitsunari
was the perfect choice. Not only he is loyal, his partner Pokémon was Talonflame
which is faster than Mitsuhide's Articuno, and has the type advantage. It might
be a weaker Pokémon overall, but it doesn't matter when Mitsuhide's forces are
so weak compared to Hideyoshi's. Mitsunari stormed into Mitsuhide's home, used
his war fan, and killed him. One thing left to do with Mitsuhide is capturing
Gracia. They can't kill her as it will show Hideyoshi's true intentions, but
they can take her as a hostage just so they can use her at the right moment.
They can't let the family of the traitor get away without punishment. Ieyasu
knew that he is Hideyoshi's next target. Therefore he submitted for Hideyoshi.
One person on the other hand… wasn't as smart.
"Who
are our next targets?" Mitsunari asked his lord.
"Shibata
Katsuie. Once we'll defeat him nobody will stay in our way."
"I'll
do it as soon as possible, Hideyoshi Sama."
Well… no
need to explain… Shibata was killed. All of Nobunaga's allies except Ieyasu
were killed. Nobunaga's and Mitsuhide's heads were shown in public. Nobunaga's
head was shown as reminiscence for his death, while Mitsuhide was shown as a
warning for what happens to traitors. In just matter of days, Hideyoshi became
the strongest man in Ransei. He ordered a complete submission for everyone in
Ransei. Those who didn't submit were executed. With so many warriors on his
side with no jobs for them as there was nobody to fight against, the warriors
found themselves jobless. Therefore Hideyoshi brought the idea to invade into
other regions. Miakko however, didn't want to participate in this massacre. She
knew from history it will bring only misery. She talked to Hideyoshi, but he
refused to listen. She then went to meet Ieyasu.
"Ieyasu,
more people are going to die for nothing. Are you okay with Hideyoshi's
plan?"
"Miakko…
I just realized. You don't call him "Hideyoshi- Sama". Your parents
are the same. Everyone call him "Sama", but you won't."
"How
does it matter to what I've just said…?"
"You
never add "Sama". You also didn't protect Nobunaga when Mitsuhide
attacked… As if you knew that Nobunaga was supposed to die that day."
"Again…
how is this relevant?"
"You
know it… You know what will happen when Hideyoshi does that. You are… from the
future, aren't you?"
"No,
I'm not…" Miakko said. "How did you know…?"
"During
I hit the Shedinja at the battle against the Azai, your mother said something
about "abilities". However, nobody knows what it is. After that I
researched a bit. Old documents say that Pokémon evolved their battle mechanics
through the years. But none of them mentioned something like abilities. It
seems that the battle mechanics will change again. And you know it. You also
knew about some events before they will happen. Otherwise you would have
protected Nobunaga. But you knew that he was destined to die that day."
Miakko
stayed silent.
"One
more thing I've learned is that there are some Pokémon with abilities that
control time. Could you be using them?"
Miakko
decided that it is the time to tell him the truth.
"So
basically… History was changed…" Shirr said looking at the screen.
"It won't effect on us, right?"
"This
is not a problem." Saica said. "It will simply create another
timeline."
"I
see…" Ieyasu said. "Well… it is the time… To prepare to battle. It
seems that you already changed history. Time to send my super soldiers.
"Mitsunari
sama!!!!" Sakon shouted. He was the most loyal ally of him. "I can't find
Gracia!!!!"
"She
is probably at toilets or something… She doesn't matter anyway. But it will be
better if we will inform Hideyoshi Sama first."
Mitsunari
went to Hideyoshi's room. "Hideyoshi Sama... I have something to inform.".
Hideyoshi didn't answer. Mitsunari smelled a fresh blood. "No… no way…".
"HIDEYOSHI SAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
He found
Hideyoshi corpse with his beheaded head. The Sengoku period is about to end way
sooner than it did originally!
