Hit Points, Physical Attack,
Physical Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed: Those exist in
every Pokémon. Using them masterfully along with the right item, ability,
typing, move set, mechanic, team balance, care and love, and of course brilliant
thinking mid battle will lead the trainer into victory!
"It

coming, Fuecoco?" asked Ryu.
"I'm…
I'm… Evolving!!!!!" he evolved right away into Skeledirge! He breathed a
huge flame. He learned how to use Torch Song! "Sandile, sing with
me!"
Sandile
growled.
"Oh
well… you can't speak human language yet! Don't worry, I'll teach you in time!
Let's start!"
And so,
that crocodile sang his song about a tyrant from a far region that was killed
for his crimes.
"Wait
Fuecoco, I mean, Skeledirge, didn't you say that you sing and make rhymes in
order to prepare for Torch Song?" asked Miakko. "Now you already know
how to use the move, so it means you can stop."

The
Furukawas walked for a few days, and they tried to find their next GYM. They
noticed something weird; there are hospitals everywhere. Not just Pokémon
centers, but also human hospitals, and they were very close to each other. They
were only at radios of five kilometers far from each other. What is the need
for so many hospitals? Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh didn't have so many of them.
But why Unova needs that many? Soon they found their answer.
Miakko
noticed a six years old child playing with a gun and aiming it at a person.
"Papa, it is a toy, right?"
"Sure
it is a toy." he said without thinking. Then he took more careful look.
"Wait Miakko, it is not! Shit!!!!"
Miakko ran
as fast as she could and snapped the gun from the child's hands before he shot
the random person. "It is real…. What's going on…"
"Daddy!!!!!"
the child run toward his dad "That old lady took away the gift you bought
me!!!!"
"Old…
lady?!" Miakko is only eighteen!!!! What's wrong with kids these days?!
"Bitch!
Give back that gun to my son!" the father aimed with his own gun.
"Have
you gone mad?! Letting a child playing with a gun."
"You
should give up." Intervened an old lady "You aren't from Unova,
right? Unfortunately, this man is right. The law supports his actions.".
Miakko had no choice but to give back the gun she took from the child.
The lady
explained the Furukawas the story about the guns in Unova. Thanks to Gumshoos
Hazozra they became legal not only to buy, but to shoot anything and everything
any person the holder wishes for as long as it is the realm of Unova. This was
Hazozra's plan in order to increase the region's economy. People will buy guns
if they can. Some will shoot it just because they can. Then, people will feel a
threat for their lives, so they'll buy a gun as well. Since Hazozra came up
with this trick, there are 95 guns in the region for every 100 people. And the
prices for them were insane as well. People have no choice but to buy guns in
order to defend themselves. Due to people shooting each other, more hospitals
in the region are needed. Then again, the prices for taken care in the hospital
are pricy as hell. In Unova people don't fear from death, but from the prices
they'll have to pay in hospitals so they won't see the Girantina's door toward
the afterlife. The Furukawas asked the old lady if there is a GYM nearby. There
is one. But only specific trainers can challenge it, as must be challenged at a
triple match with three trainers on each side. That's right; they are at
Striaton City.
The
Furukawas found the GYM they were told about. "Is that really the
place?" wondered Ryu. "It is a restaurant, not GYM."
"We'll
have to ask inside." said Waiareas.
The waiter
welcomed them "A table for three?" he asked.
"We
heard it is a GYM. Not a restaurant." answered Miakko.
"It
is a GYM. However, you'll have to eat before challenging it."
"What?!!!!
I was thinking this place serves this particular drink that comes out of a
Diglett!" Akira smashed his fist at the table.
"I
don't know what you are talking about, for fuck sake!!!" argued the waiter
Cilan.
"How
cum this world don't have this drink!? In our world it is very popular!"
Rabbi pulled Cilan's necktie. "There is even one place that sells only
that drink!"
"What
the fuck are you talking about?!" Cilan was at his breakpoint. "There
is only one world!"
"Fine!
Then give us your best dish!" Rabbi kicked him at his face.
Cilan was
really afraid for his life, as well as his brothers Chili and Cress. They sent
their cousin they didn't care about, Turmeric. "Here is your dish, sliced
Tepig that was cooked at the oven for two hours, with a cheese that was made
out of Numel's milk." Turmeric served the dish.
"This
is not Kosher you mother fucker!!!!" Rabbi took his gun, shot at Turmeric
and killed him. "Finally I can do it with no legal consequences!"
Miakko
stood up to confront against Rabbi. But she sat back on her seat. There is
nothing she can do. The law protects Rabbi for his actions. Turmeric's cousins
called an ambulance in order to save his life. They kicked out Rabbi, Jacob,
and Akira from their restaurant. "Oh I'm sorry. I was busy with the other
customers." Cilan approached the Furukawas. "What is your
order?"
"We
heard this place is a GYM." said Ryu. "We would like to challenge
it."
"In
our GYM we battle in a triple battle; three trainers against three GYM leaders.
When you'll win you'll get a special badge that will count as "triple
type" and will kind like of "Joker" in card games. It will apply
for both the double league and the single league. But there is another
requirement. You must use Fire, Water, and Grass type. So, will you take the
challenge?"
"I'm
going for that!" said Miakko. "It will be the first time I'll battle
along Mama and Papa."
"Then
there is no time to waste." Cilan called his brothers Cress and Chili.
"Chikorita,
it is your time! Let's go!" Miakko sent her Chikorita to battle. Chikorita
was so excited to battle after so long. 'Mama and Papa are here to protect her.
There is no better chance than this to see if she can keep up with fully
evolved Pokémon.' Miakko was thinking.
'I need
Pokémon that can support us against many foes. I have the perfect one here.'
Ryu was thinking. "Go! Arcanine!" she sent its Pokeball.
'I assume
that if we are required to use Grass, Water, and Fire types then they'll use
them as well. I have the perfect Pokémon against those types' Waiareas was
thinking. "Go! Empoleon!"
Cilan
released Simisage, Chili released Simisear, and Cress released Simipour. Or in
other words… the ugly green, red, and blue monkeys. Those monkeys are very
similar to each other. They have the same ability, and the same stats. They are
decently fast and strong, but terrible when it comes to defenses. The first
thing that happened in the battle is Arcanine's ability; Intimidate which
lowers the physical attack of every foe. Waiareas and Ryu knew that the GYM
leaders plan to target Miakko's weak Chikorita in order to lower the damage as
much as they can.
"Extreme
speed!" ordered Ryu.
"Aqua
Jet!" ordered Waiareas. "On Simisear!" they called together. The
power was strong enough to make the ugly red monkey faint.
Chili
gritted his teeth 'Despite my Simisear was faster... they managed to defeat it…
my brothers… defeat them!'
"Simipour!
Use Ice Beam on Chikorita!" ordered Cress. Due to Ice Beam being a special
move, it wasn't affected by Intimidate. A single Ice Beam was enough to make
Chikorita faint. It is two on two now. Waiareas and Ryu knew that the next
target was Arcanine. Therfore, there was only one move they could use.
Cress
ordered the blue monkey to use Brine, a water type move. Ryu anticipated this
and used Protect. The brothers had a problem with Empoleon. None of their types
is super effective against it. And thanks to Intimidate, most of their moves
are weaker. Cilan used Energy Ball, grass type move with his green monkey on
Emepoleon to do as much damage as he could. But Empoleon' special defense is
decently high. It didn't do much damage. Waiareas used Drill Peck, a flying
type move on the grass monkey. It was super effective, but not enough to defeat
the monkey.
Ryu right
away used Extreme Speed which was enough to defeat the green monkey. Now it is
two on one! Indeed! Extreme Speed is a problem for the brothers. The monkeys'
forte is their speed, but that move completely cancels it! I could tell you
about what happened in the battle afterwards, but you already know it, at this
point the battle was over with the Furukawas' victory. However, this battle
also showed another thing; she has to part away with Chikorita.
"Don't
make such a face, Chikorita. You know that I don't want to do this as
well." said Miakko to disappointed Chikorita. "I know you want to
battle. But if you'll stay in my team you won't battle at all. Therefore I'll
send you to Professor Oak, and send you some friends you can train with. So
train, and become stronger! Strong enough that even you as not fully evolved Pokémon
can be strong enough!". Miakko tried to put confidence into her friend and
sent her to Oak.
"Miakko…
it is okay… you can stop… You already sent her." Ryu hugged her daughter.
"I
wanted to believe that she could keep up with the battles if I'll train her
hard enough… but as the difficulty increased… I failed her…"
"This
is the unfortunate aspect of battling. Those who can't keep up are left behind."
said Waiareas. "If you have budget to sustain an army of only 1,000
thousand soldiers, then those 1,000 must be the best of the best. Pokémon
battles are even harsher, as you can use only six soldiers per team. Those who
aren't strong enough are left behind." "But Miakko, you handled it
very well. You gave this Chikorita a chance; you didn't give up on her right
away. Most of the trainers would have given up on her much faster, but you
didn't. However, you might find a niche for Chikorita. A role only she can fit
herself into."
Two days
later…
The night
was dark. Three burglars sneaked into Striaton GYM. They saw the GYM leaders
Cilan, Cress, and Chili sleeping in the kitchen.
"Burn
it."
"Yeah
nobody will serve us non-kosher food!"
"They
are criminals who deserve to die!"
"Die
Mother Fuckers!!!!!!!!!!" they ran outside will escaping the huge explosion
at the gym.
"Wait…
I think this is illegal!"
"Huh?
What are you talking about?!"
"Killing
with guns is legal, but with arson… is not!!!!"
"Shit!!!!
