Hit Points, Physical Attack, Physical Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed: Those exist in every Pokémon. Using them masterfully along with the right item, ability, typing, move set, mechanic, team balance, care and love, and of course brilliant thinking mid battle will lead the trainer into victory!
"I
still can't believe that Raihan is dead…" Kabu sighed. He was sitting with
Milo and the two were drinking tea with cookies.
"Yeah…
Leon is now in a deep depression…" Milo added. Although he knew the real
reason for that will shock everyone, so he didn't say the truth.
"Can
you smell that…?" Kabu asked; he sensed something.
"Smell
what?"
"Smell
of igniting fire…"
"Your
GYM is a Fire Type GYM…. obviously there is fire here…."
"No…
now it is different…" then he realized "Shit! It is Abed!"
"Who?"
"I'll
tell you on the way! No time to waste! We must save him!"
Abed was
working under Kabu at his GYM. He was taken by him after a certain event over a
year ago which Abed lost his master; she was a GYM leader as well. From time to
time Abed tried to commit a suicide. His wife divorced him, and dumped him for
a sexy businessman with a much higher income that he had. She also has spread a
rumor that he killed himself and therefore he had no home to return to.
"Abed!!!!!!"
Kabu called. "Stop! It is not worth it!"
"Shut
up! Let me die!!!!!" Abed was wearing an explosive device on his belt
"I'll die peacefully!!!!!!"
So simply…
the rumor became truth… because his wife spread a rumor that he died; now he
actually wants to die…
"I'll
stop you myself then! I'm not letting you die! You are a great person, with
hopes and dreams!"
"My
only hope and dream is to die!!!!!!!! God…"
"No
Abed… please! Don't do it!"
"Is…."
"Milo!
Help me! We'll stop him together!"
"What
do I have to do with it?! I want to stay alive for fuck sake!!!!!!" Milo
screamed.
"A…."
"Milo
please!!!!! There is no time!!!!" Kabu implored him.
"Fine!!!!
Only I have to do is to stop him, right?!!!!"
"Mouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Another
day at Galar, another funeral…
"I
can't believe that Kabu and Milo are dead!!!!!!" Gordie was about to smash
something.
"It
has been only less than a week but already three GYM leaders are dead!!!! What
the hell?!" Bea screamed.
"Not
to mention that the one who killed them survived his suicide attempt!"
Gordie kept screaming.
"Shh…
this is a funeral… you should respect the dead…" Piers said quietly.
"Piers!
Aren't you mad?! That idiot has killed two GYM leaders! We don't have enough
GYM leaders! What the hell should we do?!" Gordie grabbed Piers' collar.
"Gordie!
That's enough!" Leon stopped him. "We are still mourning on Raihan,
don't make it even more difficult for us. I have a solution for that problem,
so shut up and respect the dead."
Miakko and
her parents reached Motostoke to challenge the Fire GYM Leader, Kabu. Little
she knew that he is dead.
"We
would like to challenge Kabu, the leader of your GYM" Miakko said at the
reception. Two secretaries sat there in front of their computers; one man and
the other one was a woman.
"I
see…" the male secretary said "You don't know what happened…"
"Is
there something wrong?" Ryu asked.
"Kabu
is dead." The female secretary said.
"Oh…
I'm sorry… I didn't know." Miakko apologized. "I guess we'll have to
find other GYM to challenge…"
"You
could challenge Milo or Nessa. Their GYMs aren't very far from here; just a few
days of walking." Waiareas said.
"Wait!"
the male secretary said. "I never said that there is no GYM leader. Kabu
was replaced."
"…
Replaced with his killer… I don't know what Leon is thinking…" the female
secretary said quietly.
"Wait,
so we can challenge you?" Miakko asked.
"Of
course! I'll call the leader." "Abed! Abed! There is a challenger for
you."
Abed
wasn't answering.
"Where
is he…?" the male secretary said to himself. "Wait… could he be
trying to kill himself AGAIN?!!!!"
"Let's
find him!" Waiareas said. "Miakko, Ryu, we must save him."
After a
few minutes of searching they found him at the roof, standing with his arms
crossed. "That's Abed!" the secretary said. "Abed! Don't
jump!!!!!!"
"Shut
up! I'll kill myself now!!!!"
Abed was
familiar to Miakko. She has seen him somewhere in the past, but she couldn't
figure out when and where.
"GOD
IS A MOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!" He jumped.
Ryu
quickly drew Waiareas' sword and threw it at Abed…. Ryu what the hell are you
doing?!!!!! You really want to kill him?!!!!!!
The sword
pierced Abed's shirt and was stabbed at the wall behind him, saving him from
death.
And I was
thinking that Ryu tried to kill him…
Waiareas
jumped and pulled Abed from the wall, then took him to safety. "Why have
you save me?! I wanted to die!" Abed cried.
"It
is not worth it." Waiareas said. "When you die there is nothing
behind. You should cherish your life."
"What
are you saying?! When I'll die seventy two virgins will be waiting for
me!"
"I
never heard about such a thing. Live your life, and never die by your own
choice." Waiareas said to him.
"Fine…"
he then noticed Miakko. "Wait… I remember you… you wanted to challenge
Erika around a year ago…"
Miakko
finally understood who Abed is. "The gardener?! Is that you?!"
"So
you do remember me! Okay girl, for you I'll give you the best GYM battle you'll
ever have! Erika is now at jail so that asshole I behind us! Now I'm a GYM
leader myself! Take that Erika! My type specialty is the stronger than yours!
Because of that woman Celadon was burned down, just because you wanted
challengers to burn that bush! Take that asshole!!!!!!!!!!!!" he laughed
like a psychopath.
"My
GYM's rules are a bit different than what you are used to." Abed said.
"Each one of us will use three Pokémon. There won't be any switching. Our
Pokemon will battle in one on one battle, but we'll do it three times with
different Pokémon. Once a Pokémon finishes a battle, it can't be used anymore.
The first one to win two times will win. So think well which Pokemon will
battle me." He said.
Miakko decided
that she can endure one loss in those rules. It was the perfect time to give
some Pokémon trainer battle experience.
"I'll
start with that!" Abed called. "Go! Growlithe!" he summoned the
Fire- Rock type Pokémon. "Don't be too surprised! Apparently not long ago
those things started appearing in the world out of nowhere! They were very rare
until a few months ago." I see… so those appeared thanks to the mission
from Moho Sama…
"Go!
Toxel!" Miakko summoned her Electric type.
"Growlithe's
special ability! Intimidate! It will decrease your Physical Attack!"
Miakko had
her own trick. "Toxel's special ability! Rattled! When it gets intimidated
its speed goes up!"
"Nice,
nice. Indeed a great counter." Abed praised her.
"Toxel!
Use Nuzzle!" Miakko ordered. This move is a weak Physical Electric type
move that make the foe paralyze. With Toxel's low Physical Attack, along with
the stat decrease it barely did any damage.
"Growlithe!
Use Fire Fang!" and it did a big damage due to Toxel low defensive stats.
"Toxel!
Use Belch!" Belch is a strong Special Poison type move. It must consume a
Berry in order to use it, which Miakko prepared beforehand. It is weak against
Rock types, and it wasn't enough to beat Growlithe, but it was very close to.
"You
are done!" Abed called "Use Fire Fang again!". However, due to
the Paralyze effect, it wasn't able to attack. Miakko finished the battle by
using Acid, a weak Special Poison move, and won the first battle.
Battle
Number Two!
"Go!
Steenee!" Miakko summoned her Grass type. 'It is the time to see what she
can do. I'll probably lose, but this is training.'
"Go!
Vulpix!" Vulpix's special ability Drought has activated. It created a
small sun in the GYM's arena. "It will make all Fire type move get
stronger!"
"Low
Sweep!" Miakko ordered to use the fighting type move. Steenee kicked with
her legs, and it did a very little damage. Steenee stats are very low,
especially to a middle evolution Pokémon.
"Flamethrower!!!!!"
The move destroyed Steenee with one hit. She didn't have a chance along with
the super effective damage, STAB, and the sunlight effect.
Battle
Number Three! The Final One!
Miakko
noticed the small sun still was in effect. "I was thinking the battles
have no continuity with each other."
"Oh
sorry. I should have explained it. All the effects on field will be still in
play."
"He
isn't very experienced as a GYM leader…" Waiareas commented.
"It
is probably one of his first battles as a leader." Ryu said. Not one of
the first… the first. Kabu died yesterday!!!!!!
"No
more games…" Miakko took one of her Pokeballs. "Go!
Ursaluna!!!!" she summoned her bear.
"I
have never seen this Pokémon… but I have a surprise as well! Go!
Coalossal!" Abed summoned a giant rock monster. "Erika allowed me to
own only Rock type Pokémon. She bullied me. So I had its first form, Rolycoly
which was a pure Rock type. But that fool didn't know its final form is Fire
type as well!!!!!" he called back Coalossal to its Pokeball. The Pokeball
grew bigger and shined in pink. "Dynamax!!!!!" The Coalossal grew to
a massive size.
"Ursaluna!!!
Use Headlong Rush!!!!" Miakko ordered to use the Ground type move.
"Are
you so sure about that?! Coalossal, use Max Flare!!!!!!!" The Coalossal
attacked first despite its lower speed. It was able to thanks to its item Quick
Claw which gives a chance to attack first. It is all up to luck in the end. Ursaluna
received great damage but was able to survive. Then it was able to defeat
Coalossal with its four times effectiveness Ground type move, along with its
great Physical Attack stat, and the STAB of course. Miakko won the battle.
"Thank
you Abed, it was a great battle." Miakko said.
"No,
thank you." Abed said. "Here is your GYM badge. Now I'm going to kill
myself." He ignited his explosive belt.
Ryu
grabbed Miakko, held her with her arms and ran.
"GOD
IS A MOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
